Name: Phillip Ward Born and raised in McLeansville, North Carolina, Phillip Ward began his career in entertainment at age 16 as a main event character in the Southeastern Professional Wrestling Circuit. After five years of hard-knocks in the ring, he realized his true passion was in theater and film, and in 2005, graduated from Elon University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in acting. During this time he also began writing and producing his own plays and films, earning the respect of the performing arts and film communities with the play The Million Dollar Kid, and the award winning short films GI HO LO - The Legacy of Richard Long, and ONE SHOT. He can also be seen in the film SAPSUCKER (Slamdance 2009). |
